'TO SKY' Earrings

The 18th century painter John Constable coined the phrase “to sky” — to lie on one’s back and consider the clouds, our bodies swallowed whole by its open expanse. Aquamarine navettes echo eyes filled with sky, sieged by pink sapphires, spinel crystals and rose-cut sapphires held in 18k gold. A gathering of seed pearls precipitate in mid-air, a prelude to a solitary sapphire.
